The other activity on these mats is writing practice. The number is written six times on the top of the right hand side of the page. As they trace this dotted number, children can review their number recognition skills, as well as connecting the number they are tracing to the number word in the frame the coconut is holding.
These mats will provide hours of fun in most settings, even as an independent activity as part of a Math center.
