All you need to make this EASY playdough recipe for March are a couple simple materials you probably already have on hand in your kitchen:

  • 2 and 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of boiling water
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar
  • green Food Coloring
  • Chunky gold Glittler

In a large bowl or mixer {I used my pretty red kitchen aid mixer} combine flour, salt, cream of tartar and the vegetable oil.  Mix it together. Slowly add the boiling water and mix until it’s completely combined. ONce it is cool enough to handle, it’s time to get in there and knead that dough until it is ready for play, just a couple minutes.
