All you need to make this cute craft for st patricks day are a few simple materials you probably already have on hand.

Supplies:

  • canvas (or large sheet of cardstock)
  • paint brush
  • washable paint colors (black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple)
  • baby wipes (optional, but make clean-up much easier)

Start out by painting your child’s palm black. Then carefully paint each of their fingers a different color from the rainbow.

Press their hand on the bottom left covern at an angle facing the upper right corner. Press firmly to make sure all surfaces of the hand make an impressin, but do not squish back and forth and mess up the handprint.

Uisng a paint brush, add an arch across the paper from the finger to the edge of the opposite side. Use the the same color as the finger.

Repeat with remaning fingers 5 fingers so you have a beautiful rainbow coming out of the fingers.

Draw or cut and paste a white fluffly cloud on the endge of the rainbow going off the endge of the project (and trim to size).
