Cheerio Counting Printable
This is a fun, hands on math activity for toddlers, prek, preschoolers, and kindergartners with a cute zoo animals twist. It is great for a spring /summer math center, working with a number line, and one to one correspondence.
One to One Correspondence Worksheets
This free printable math activity for preschoolers is a great way to practice counting with preschool students.

The pdf file will open in a new window for you to print and save the freebie. Now simply print one of the zoo animals in color or black and white. (If you are using this in a classroom you will want to laminate or stick in a page protector for durability).
Now set the preschool printable out with a dice and a handful of cereal and you are ready for some fun, hands-on math game.
Counting Games
Students will roll a dice and then count out the corresponding number of Cheerios. Then, place the cheerios on one of the animals’ spots to practice one to one correspondence.

This is a fun counting game for toddler, preschool, and kindergarten age kids. For some added practice with the concept of adding on, have students put a cheerio on the number line below. With each additional roll, have students add on the number rolled.
