All you need to try this dancing worms experiment are a few simple materials:

water
vinegar
2 clear glasses
scissors or knife

Use scissors or a knife to cut the gummy worms in quarters lengthwise. This step is important so you get more wiggling, jiggling FUN! Without trimming the gummyworm’s girth, they will be too heavy to pu ton the best show they could.

Pour 1 cup of water into one of the glasses. Add 3 tablespoons of baking soda and stir. Finally drop in 4-6 gummy worm sections to the baking soda solution and let them soak for at least 20 minutes.

After your gummy worms have soaked, Pour vinegar into the other glass.Using a pair of chopsticks or a fork, carefully pick up a gummy worm and drop it into the vinegar solution.
