Elf on the shelf printables

Prepare and cut up the ‘elf templates’ each student should have their own ‘elf card printables’. You can also choose to work on numbers 1-5 or 1-10. There are also black and white options. Be sure to have some small dot stickers or mini erasers for the ten frame section.

Once students will then identified the number shown on each printable they will

  • fill the ten frames with stickers, Christmas candy, dot markers, etc. (this also works on their fine motor skills as they pinch to remove the stickers and place them into their elf cards.
  • trace the number word
  • number trace the numerals
  • feed the elf the correct number of candies
