Start by cutting out your basic shapes from construction paper: (get our free cutting template here)
- 1/2 of brown paper in a roundish shape to make a head
- 2 brown ovals for ears
- brow trapeziod to make neck
- 2 yellow ovals for inside of ears (slightly smaller than brown ones)
- 2 yellow small circles for cheeks
- 2 yellow antlers just shy of 1/2 of sheet long
- 1 red circle just slightly larger than cheeks to make nose (we did red for Rudolph)

Start by gluing the reindeer head, neck, ears, and antlers onto a large sheet of paper. Don’t forget to add some fun with googly eyes for that extra whimsical look.

Easy christmas craft
Glue on the cheeks and the nose of your reindeer. For a classic look, go with a brown nose, or if you want to create your very own Rudolph, opt for red like we did! We even added a little white construction paper on top for a fun, shiny touch.

Grab a black marker or Sharpie and add some personality! Draw in a smiling mouth and some expressive eyebrows or eyelashes to bring your creation to life!

Construction paper christmas craft
Now it’s time for my favorite part! Grab a paper plate and squeeze out some dots of colorful paint. Let the kids dip their fingers in the paint and press them onto and around the antlers. Aim for around 7 cheerful dots per antler—this will create the perfect holiday lights!

Let the paint dry completely. Once it’s dry, grab your black marker and draw a fun squiggly line between the colorful light bulbs to create the illusion of wire!
