A is for Apple Printable Book

We love filling the month of September with lots of fun, engaging, and educational apple activities. Preschoolers, Kindergartners, and grade 1 students just seem to get more excited about learning, engage with the material more, and remember what they’ve learned longer when material is presented with a fun learning activity. This handy, free printable, A is for Apple Printable Book is a great way for kids to have fun strengthening hand muscles coloring, learn their ABCs, and work on phonics skills as they learn the sounds letters make.

This alphabet printable can be used as a NO PREP alphabet worksheet or made into a super cute apple alphabet book.  Either way it is a fun apple activity to get kids excited about learning their ABCs in September.

Free Alphabet Printables to learn your letters from a to z

Alphabet Sound Book

There are two options for this printable apple books for preschoolers:

  • Black & White Apple Alphabet Pages
  • Apple Outline in Color / Middle Black & White Apple Alphabet Pages

Cut out and color each individual apple page so that you have an apple for each letter of the alphabet

Alphabet Sound Book

If you choose the black and white alphabet sounds book, let students decorate the pages of their alphabet shaped cut out book to learn their letters. They can use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to color the clipart images for the letters of the alphabet. Then, carefully use scissors to cut out each individual apple page so that you have an apple for each letter of the alphabet.

HINT: You can cut the pages into squares if you want (or need) to save on cutting time!

Kids can get creative and color all the apple edges red or vary it up to make different colored apples – red, green, and yellow.

Turn these apple printables into a clever alphabet book for preschoolers to learn their letters from A to Z

Once your student(s) has colored all the letters they can turn these apple printables into a clever alphabet book. Simply put the pages in order from A to Z with the apple cover on top and staple at the top on the overlapping stems. Preschoolers can flip open their apple alphabet book to practice their letters and the alphabet sounds they make!

  1. I love your work…thank you for sharing it. I do have one question, on the bunny tracing number cards on 9&10 mine print with all the bunnies with a black background (so it blocks out tracing those numbers complete). It doesn’t show it like that when I am going to print them but when they do print I get that big black rectangle. Do you have any idea why?? I wish I could send you a pic of what it’s doing..
